Earning ALL – Accor Live Limitless Elite Status

ALL – Accor Live Limitless status is earned on a calendar-year basis. You can earn all elite status tiers except Diamond status based on stays in a calendar year. ALL Diamond requires a significant amount of eligible spending during your stays to qualify and cannot be achieved through stays alone.

For example, if you want to qualify for Platinum status, you must either stay at least 60 nights in a calendar year or make €5,600 (~$6,400) in eligible purchases during your stays every year. That’s because you’ll earn 25 status points for every €10 (~$12) spent. You need 14,000 status points to qualify for ALL Platinum.

If you generally tend to book fewer stays but spend more at the property during each stay, it might be easier to qualify based on status points via purchases.

On the other hand, if you tend to book lots of stays but spend less during each stay, it’ll probably be easier to qualify based on nights.

Value of ALL – Accor Live Limitless Elite Status

ALL Silver offers little in the way of hotel benefits, but some of the selling points of this tier include late checkout (subject to availability) and a welcome drink. Members also earn 24% bonus points on paid stays.

ALL Gold gets you category room upgrades (subject to availability, excluding suites), a welcome amenity upon check-in, and early check-in or late checkout. ALL Gold members earn 48% bonus points on paid stays.

ALL Platinum is where it really starts to get interesting because you’re entitled to 2 Suite Night Upgrades, as well as premium Wi-Fi, early check-in, late checkout, complimentary breakfast every day at Asia Pacific properties, access to Executive Lounges (excludes Fairmont Gold), complimentary soft drinks from the minibar, ironing services, and hotel restaurant and bar benefits. ALL Platinum members earn 78% bonus points on paid stays.

ALL Diamond is the top-tier status that gets you complimentary breakfast on weekends worldwide (in addition to daily breakfast at Asia Pacific properties), 4 dining and spa reward vouchers (worth €25 (~$29) each), and the ability to gift someone Gold status. ALL Diamond members earn 100% bonus points on paid stays.

Bottom Line: ALL Platinum is probably the best tier to pursue. You’ll get the most incremental perks, including breakfast in Asia Pacific, check-in and checkout benefits, as well as access to Executive Lounges and 2 Suite Night Upgrades.

ALL PLUS ibis

Accor also offers a fee-based ALL PLUS ibis membership for €99 ($113) annually. Benefits include a 15% room discount, 10 Status Nights, guaranteed room availability up to 2 days before your stay, and all the benefits of ALL Silver status.

How To Earn ALL Reward Points

There are plenty of ways to earn Reward points, and the most obvious is to book stays with its brands.

Earning Points on Hotel Stays

Base Points: ALL – All Accor Live Limitless members earn 5 to 25 points per €10 spent, depending on their status and hotel brand. Depending on your elite status, you may earn 25-75% bonus points during your stay.

Here’s how many points you earn by brand and elite status (€10 is roughly equal to around $12 according to exchange rates at the time of publishing):

Branded and Partnered Credit Cards

Bilt Credit Cards

Bilt Rewards points transfer at a 3:2 ratio to Accor Live Limitless and you can earn Bilt points primarily through the Bilt Mastercard. The card earns 1X points on rent, 2X points on travel and 3X points on dining.

There are better ways to redeem Bilt Rewards for maximum value than transferring them to Accor. However, it’s a nice option to have if you ever need to top off your balance for a reward.

Capital One Miles Credit Cards

Capital One miles can be transferred to ALL – Accor Live Limitless in around 36 hours at a ratio of 2:1. This is a decent use of Capital One miles for hotels because you can get around 1.1 to 1.2 cents per point in value, compared to the standard 1 cent per point of value.

However, you’ll get better value redeeming your Capital One miles for business or first class flights.

Why We Like This Card

The Citi Custom Cash® Card is inventive when it comes to cash-back credit cards. Instead of earning a set amount of cash-back on predetermined bonus categories, the Citi Custom Cash card earns 5% cash-back on your highest eligible spend category each billing cycle, with a $0 annual fee.

Thanks to that unique perk, you’ll never need to worry about whether you’re using the right card for the right purchase, as your Citi Custom Cash card will always pay you 5% back on whichever category you end up spending the most on each month.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the name of the Accor rewards program?

Accor’s rewards program is called ALL – Accor Live Limitless. It’s also abbreviated as ALL. Accor includes brands like Raffles, Fairmont, Swissôtel, Ibis, Banyan Tree, and so much more.

Should I join Accor Live Limitless? Is it worth it?

Joining ALL – Accor Live Limitless is totally free and even entry-level Classic members get access to benefits.

When you stay at any property within the ALL – Accor Live Limitless portfolio, you will earn points, get perks, and much more. You can also earn points through the transfer partnership with Capital One miles. You can then redeem your points for free hotel nights, shopping, charity, and even transfer them to airline frequent flyer programs.

What are the Accor Live Limitless benefits and status tiers?

Even the entry Classic tier gets you turbocharged with perks like access to private sales on all.accor.com, free Wi-Fi, daily newspapers, and more.

ALL status tiers are Classic, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. Each of these tiers, except for the base-level Classic tier, requires a minimum number of nights or a number of status points (which are awarded based on how much you spend during your stay) to qualify.

Depending on which tier you qualify for, you get bonus points, welcome amenities, executive lounge access, free breakfast, suite upgrades, late checkout, early check-in, and more.

When do Accor points expire?

Reward points expire after 365 days of earning them. You can reset the expiration timer for another 365 days if you complete a qualifying stay.

What are Accor base points and bonus points?

They’re identical when used for free hotel stays. Base points are the points you earn as a normal member. Bonus points are earned on top of base points when you have elite status. The amounts can vary from 25% to 75% in bonus points, depending on what status level you have.

If you stay in an ALL property, you can earn 5 to 25 base points for every €10 (~$12) spent.
